Review - Dragon Ball Super: Episode 15

On this episode of Dragon Ball Super, Mr. Satan turns Super Saiyan AND saves the universe?! After the last few episodes of intense fighting, culminating in the end of the Battle of the Gods arc, we have a nice comedic episode to transition between arcs and it was hilarious.



The episode focuses on Mr. Satan receiving a prize for saving the planet from Beerus, because he always takes the limelight! He tells the story of how he "saved the world" from "Beebus" and he claims to of turned into a God, which he imagines as him turning Super Saiyan, which is the weirdest thing ever, would've never imagine Mr. Satan with Saiyan hair.

After Mr. Satan tells his heroic story of how he saved the planet, Lion-looking aliens come down to Earth, after showing earthlings the weirdest dance i've ever witness, they want to present Mr. Satan with an medal for defeating Beerus, but before they give it to him, they want to see Mr. Satan's power for themselves, after Mr. Satan comes up with several excuses that don't pan out, he fights one of the aliens, but luckily for him, Mr. Satan's dog comes up to the arena and the aliens run away because they're scared of dogs! This was so silly, but it was funny and weird which is all i expect from Dragon Ball!

Mr. Satan can easily be an annoying character if used wrong, but i think they did a good job with him in this episode of keeping him relatively idiotic but funny also.

This week's Dragon Ball Super was just a lighthearted episode to pass the time until the next big arc starts and i had a lot of fun with it.
