Review - Ant-Man

Ant-Man is the newest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is the 12th film overall, the film is Directed by Peyton Reed and written by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Paul Rudd and Adam McKay, it stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Corey Stoll and Michael Douglas.

There were lots of problems with this film happening behind the scenes, Edgar Wright had been developing an Ant-Man film for years but unfortunately Wright left the project after disagreements with Disney, and Peyton Reed got hired instead, everyone was worried when Wright left, plus Ant-Man is a weird superhero anyway so people have been less than excited for the film, but happily I can say Ant-Man is great and is one of Marvel's better films.

Recap & Review: Gangsta - "Ergastulum"

In this week's episode called "Ergastulum" we learn more about Worick, past and present, while Alex helps out Nicolas on a job.

The episode opens on Worwick having a nightmare of a flashback from his childhood, we see young Worwick surrounded by his dead family crying, we later find out that 22 years ago, someone massacred Worwick's whole family. In the flashback the murderer looks like Nicolas and is hinted as such, but we will see about that, if it was him that killed Worwick's family that's a really interesting relationship for the two to have.
We also find out that Worwick is a gigolo and has been since he was 13, this was a strange job for Worwick to have, and makes Worwick a very confusing character for me to get my head around, it seems like he could quit doing that job but maybe he enjoys the job!

Review - Dragon Ball Super: Episode 2

Dragon Ball Super kept the small comedic story-lines this week but also set up the threat of the main villain of the first arc.

The episode picked up where last week left off with Goku going to train on King Kai's planet, nothing really happens here and just makes for some funny interactions between Goku and King Kai, but that's pretty much it for this story-line this episode.
