Review - Doctor Who: "The Zygon Inversion"

On this week's episode of Doctor Who, Clara is helping the Zygons and Doctor Funkenstein has the
best speech EVER.
Honestly this episode was a forgettable episode until the last few scenes which were incredible.

I've found these last 2 episodes rather uninteresting, the things i love about Doctor Who weren't in these episodes, i miss the Clara/Doctor relationship, i didn't like everyone having their own subplot, and i'm not a big fan of Osgood! (I must be crazy)

It all comes down to the scene with the Osgood boxes, with Evil Clara (a disguised Zygon) and Kate ready to kill the other race in exchange for their own, at this point the Doctor gives a thought-provoking speech talking both parties down from pushing the button, talking about the time he committed genocide during the Time War and ends the speech with a lovely reminder that Clara helps the Doctor constantly. Capaldi was truly amazing in this scene and i think that this is his strongest performance yet and the scene that may define his Doctor Who career.
"The Zygon Inversion" along with "The Zygon Invasion" are my least favourite episodes so far this season, i found the episodes rather boring but thankfully there were a few redeeming things in this episode mostly the Doctor himself, onto better things next episode hopefully!

7/10
